Now this Cozy Threads Store / Web site is a new addition . With this storefront I hope to provide hard to find notions and sewing supplies at a fair price to you with a reasonable shipping rate based on item weight.

"CozyThreads Maine Made” Hand Crafts began while making handmade gifts for my girls and all of my nieces and nephews. Some of my friends started buying from me for their own children and their gift needs. When I started as a reseller, and was able to buy my supplies and fabric in large quantities, I often had more fabric than I actually needed.

I then contacted Angel Covers president Kari Filmore (angelcovers.org) to make a donation of fabric and Kari asked to see my handmade hooded towels and aprons. As a result, Cozy Threads became a wholesale supplier of aprons and hooded towels to this wonderful organization. We now proudly sponsor a child in Tibet and contribute part of the Cozy Thread revenue to this amazing group that continues to grow and support orphanages and children world wide.

My next venture led me to sell sewing , quilting, and embroidery books and notions on Ebay to help fund my girls after school activities, (my oldest daughter loves horses and my youngest loves gymnastics) . In the second month my CozyThreads Ebay store attained Power Seller Status. I knew then that I was not the only one who wanted to buy notions at a fair price with a reasonable shipping rate.

I began to research what items I would like to offer and found some that I love but could not be sold on Ebay and could only be offered on a Virtual Store on the Internet or a Brick and Mortar store in town. As a result I found a great web designer and now we are a Virtual Store where you can find great Quilt Books, Punchneedle Supplies, Quiter Rulers, Embroidery Rulers, Quilt Software and our Cozy Thread Hooded Towels .

Hopefully some day you can come to Kennebunk and find a CozyThreads shop. For now, my goal as a Seller is to offer you fair prices , a place to request something you need in a larger volume with a reduced price tag , and reasonable shipping rates based on weight and real costs.. not based on a price range.

I hope that all of you who belong to sewing guilds, quilters guild or a group doing charity sewing will contact me for quotes on your special orders.
